| How much does it cost to stay in a TravelAndLive apartment? Is there a deposit? How long do you need to stay? |
|
Our apartments vary in price. Prices range from as little as $20 per night (sharing with one other person) to $32 per night for a private room. Prior to move in we require $700 upfront, which pays for the first two weeks rent and your deposit (deposit is refundable on departure). You will probably be asked to deposit $100 per person if you wish to book into an apartment - this is paid on the day you view the apartment. The remaining $600 is payable on the day you move in. Please be aware our minimum stay is two months.

I will be staying in Melbourne for a long time. Is there a maximum length of time I can stay in a TravelAndLive apartment? |
| No. Most TravelAndLive tenants love their apartments and stay longer than they initially intended to! Many tenants stay up to 6 months. |
|
How can I secure a room in a TravelAndLive apartment? |
| Usually, you will call us and we will arrange a time for you to come to view an apartment. Should you be accepted, you will be asked to pay $100 deposit per person to reserve the room, with the remaining $600 per person payable on the day of move in. If you wish to reserve a room prior to arrival in Melbourne, this is possible - however it subject to a phone interview. Also please note, under most circumstances we are not able to take reservations more than 14 days prior to your arrival. |

| 02/2008 - Christine (UK): We have really enjoyed our stay here and have already recommended your apartments to several other travelers who will be in Melbourne at various stages throughout the year so hopefully that will bring you in a bit more business! You are definitely on to a winner with this as its hassle free accommodation and far better than a hostel which is just what travelers need. |
